The mall is playing Christmas music, the salvation army bells are ringing and i can get 12 months same as cash at all of my favorite music brothels..... I mean stores. We're currently in Virginia spending Thanksgiving with the in-laws having a grand time. As the holidays roll by I find myself wanting to remember more about each moment. Not having a camera to take the pictures that I want to keep forever I try to forget something useless to make room for something priceless. This is the new adventure- clearing out the mind. I think I need to take the lead from my friend Dougie who is taking his reading seriously these days. New gadgets.... oh yes. I got a new phone with Tmobile recently. The Sony Ericcson T610 with Bluetooth- pretty cool if you ask me. I'm able to control alot of my iBook features with my phone! I can also control basic features of Emagic's Logic Platinum too. Yeah, it's totally geeky but I'm really liking it. I also played a suprisingly nice guitar yesterday- it was an Atlas series Breedlove- I think it was a rosewood Dreadnaught and it sounded great. I'm thinking I "need" one...... Yeah, "need". I also need to keep my blood sugar in control...... My American use of the word "need" is truely obusive.
So, this is what it is to share your thoughts with everyone.... or no one. We'll see what comes of this blogging technology. At first glance it feels pretentious. Why would anyone stop to read a collection of random brain droppings. But, after a further look I'm finding that many of these people are modern day prophets and apostles. Their stories have been inspiring me and challenging me to a deeper intimacy with Jesus. Most of all these writers make me feel I might be a part of something bigger, something revolutionary. It stirs my passion.
